As part of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, Government will invest up to £90m in the new funding opportunity “Transforming Food Production”.

This briefing event relates to the first call for Innovation projects, with £20m available in the area of productive and sustainable crop and ruminant agricultural systems.

UK Research and Innovation, through the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, will invest up to £20 million in innovation projects. These must improve productivity and sustainability by developing enhanced decision support, precision agriculture technology solutions and systems for crop and ruminant agriculture.

Full details about the call will be provided at the event, and will also be online in due course via the Innovation Funding Service website: https://apply-for-innovation-funding.service.gov.uk/competition/search

About this event

This briefing event will include:

an opportunity to hear about the objectives and scope of the funding programme

an opportunity to meet with UK Research and Innovation, KTN, and wider stakeholders

Expression of interest to attend the Birmingham event

If you are interested in attending this event please register for the event by 5pm, Thursday 16th August, to indicate your interest to attend. As places are limited for the event you will be contacted by 20th August to confirm if you have been allocated a place. Venue information will be given to confirmed participants only.

We are looking to have representatives from as wide a number and range of organisations as possible. As we have limited space, we would ask that all organisations (including Universities) limit the number of registrations/organisation.
