Not started any apprenticeships yet? Make the most of the apprenticeship levy and don’t wait until September 2018 to sign apprentices up for courses. At Sheffield Hallam we are proudly able to offer the Food Technical Professional Degree Apprenticeship. This is a unique programme that combines honours level education with workplace learning to help address the knowledge and skills gap in the industry. The apprenticeship provides an opportunity to ‘grow your own talent’ as well as presenting an alternative to traditional graduate recruitment. The programme is an innovative work-based learning solution that is designed to meet the needs of both the employer and learner. Building blocks of learning are complemented with work-based projects, enabling the students to apply their learning in the workplace. The aim of this event is to showcase the apprenticeship offering that we have for the Food Industry at Sheffield Hallam, whilst giving opportunity for networking and questions about using your ‘banked’ levy.
